Louis Vuitton Thompson Street Shoulder Bag

A 1998 vintage Louis Vuitton Vernis Thompson Street handbag. The lime green monogram embossed coated leather bag features an adjustable Vachetta leather strap and a front flap closure. 

Vernis leather is patent leather stamped with the LV monogram and was introduced in the late ‘90s under the creative direction of Marc Jacobs. Vernis leather has since become synonymous with Louis Vuitton thanks to its distinctive look. What’s great about patent leather, like vernis leather, is that it’s essentially calfskin coated with a heavy plastic finish, making it inherently scratch-resistant. But, with all patent leather colour transfer is common, so do not store next to other items without a dust bag!

This bag is in fair vintage condition, with some colour transfer from the blue lining to the green patent leather. please view all photos before buying.

The lining inside is in good condition with some minor marks and scratching.
