In 1999 John Galliano launched the Saddle bag, his very first bag design for the house.
A now iconic bag and of course the most collectible being of the Galliano era. Galliano’s design features a kidney-shaped silhouette, and a short strap that was designed to be worn tight under the arm, with horse bit-style CD buckles. The front flap fastens via velcro, and inside you’ll find a fabric Dior logo lining. It has a back slip pocket, and an interior zipped pocket. These early ‘00s originals are varied in style and come in many varies fabrications and leathers.
This bag is in good overall condition with some minor marks to the leather and some slight deterioration of edge paint to the shoulder strap. The code stamp tells us this bag was made in 2002.
